Rapper Sosna Delivering Viral Polish-Dutch Bars

///

Sosna has appeared with hundreds of thousands of views across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Spotify as a young, fresh – new voice in the hip-hop scene.

Sosna, is more than a rapper—he’s a one-man music machine. At 19, he writes, produces, records, mixes, and masters his tracks, giving him full creative control. This self-reliant approach, combined with his Polish-Dutch identity, is earning him fans across Europe.

Like Pierogi Meets Stroopwafel, But Make It Hip-Hop

Sosna’s has an undeniable position that aspires to be a cultural bridge, much like Mr. Polska before he shifted to the Polish market. “I want my Polish-Dutch identity to be the main thing people think of when they hear my name,” he says. His music reflects this duality, blending Polish lyrical influences with Dutch hip-hop’s polished production.

After moving to the Netherlands at six, Sosna linked up with local artists, freestyling in parks. Those experiences built the foundation for his music, giving him the confidence to create songs that feel real. His freestyle roots still shine through, making his work relatable and engaging.

One of his latest tracks, “Bloed op mijn Airforce” shows it all; a high-quality self-produced clip with a ‘real-life’ filter, leading in Dutch verses and Polish bars shot in Warsaw, Poland by clipmaker Kick Poppenk.

Driven by Ambition

Sosna’s passion for hip-hop sparked at nine, watching a 2014 Polish freestyle battle on YouTube. “Seeing Filipek and Babka trade bars with the crowd going wild—I wanted that,” he says. In Poland, he and his friends would freestyle, crafting clever verses for fun. That early practice sharpened his lyrical skills.

At 16, a friend’s invite led him to a studio where he met his clipmaker Stefan Nuiver from Obvy Projects / Blue Ent. “I went from hanging out to landing a free music video,” he recalls. His clipmaker’s viral hit “Trustt – How you doing?” (1.2 million YouTube views) showed him the value of strong visuals.

Sosna’s ambition extends beyond the studio. At 19, he also runs a recording studio, offering mixing and mastering services. “I’ve worked on hundreds of sessions, so I know what makes a track click,” he says.

Bridging Borders With Viral Reach

Sosna’s first single, “FAMILIA,” flopped with just 30 likes. Undeterred, he released “OMG,” a track blending Polish and Dutch rap. A TikTok post with Polish and Dutch flags went viral, hitting 150,000 views, and a few weeks later, his new track “BLOED OP MIJN ARFORCE” reached 780,000 views on TikTok. “Mr. Polska commented with a fire emoji, and I knew I was onto something,” Sosna says.

The fanbase that connects with Sosna’s sound comes from its raw authenticity. Sosna might be the only Polish-Dutch artist who has come out in the last two decades.

“Seeing people post my songs on their stories, dancing or chilling, is unreal,” he says.

Sosna’s vision extends beyond hits. He aims to bridge Polish and Dutch hip-hop, filling a void in the scene. “I want to be the guy who connects these worlds,” he says. With label talks underway and a growing fanbase, he’s on track to become a cultural ambassador.
